Don't miss this important update! eTraxis is changing its hosting from SourceForge to Google Code.
The project was hosted at SourceForge for last 3 years, and I really appreciate SourceForge team for provided service, which always offered even more than you want. But now SourceForge is just not what I need anymore, while Google Code fits my needs perfectly.
All links at 'Download' and 'Contacts' pages are updated − please take a look and update your favorites. Maillist will be discarded, please use this RSS feed instead. Forum will be closed and replaced with 'Feedback & Support' Google group.

New eTraxis line 2.0 is coming!

It's finally happened − the new eTraxis 2.0 is going to be released. Actually, most of you will not see any significant differences between this new version and previos 1.21, because the main change between them is alteration of database schema. And this alteration is quite massive, that's why it took that much time to implement it, and to complete regression testing then. As result, there are following most considerable changes in eTraxis:

PHP4 is not supported anymore. eTraxis 2.0 requires PHP 5.1.0 at least. Since PHP4 is discontinued more than a year ago, and most hosting sites are moved to PHP5, I believe it's not a problem for anyone of you.
MySQL 4.1 is not supported anymore, MySQL 5.0 or later is required. Here is almost the same story as above with PHP.
Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 is now supported.
Native Unicode support is now implemented for all versions of Microsoft SQL Server.
The database schema is relieved of some obsolete stuff which binded the implementation of several new features. Now, with updated schema, eTraxis can go further.

The first release 2.0.0 of the new line will be published tomorrow.
